Does grey floor tile show dirt?

Mid grey hides it best. Very pale grey shows hair and dust, and very dark grey shows dried water spots and footprints, especially in a matte finish.

Which grey tile works with warm wood cabinets?

A grey with a warm, slightly beige undertone, sometimes called greige. Cool blue greys next to warm oak tend to fight each other.

What grout colour goes with grey tile?

A grout within a shade or two of the tile keeps the floor calm. If you want the grid to show, go two shades darker rather than lighter, which stays cleaner looking.

Is grey marble more expensive than grey porcelain?

Usually yes per square foot, and it needs sealing. The trade is depth: grey marble has real veining and can be refinished, where porcelain has a printed face.

Grey Floor Tile

Every floor rated tile we carry in grey, from pale silver marbles to charcoal porcelain. Sizes run 12x12 up to 48x48, with honed, polished, matte, tumbled and leather faces.

Grey is the easiest floor colour to live with because it takes on whatever is around it: warm with oak cabinets, cool with white walls. Mid greys hide dust and footprints better than either very light or very dark tiles.

For a large open floor, a 24x24 or larger format in a matte finish keeps grout lines to a minimum. For bathrooms and entries, honed marble in grey gives the same tone with far more depth than a printed surface.
