Frequently Asked Questions

What finishes does the Brittany collection come in?

Nine: Bright White, Urban Gray, Sage Green, Victory Blue, Saddle Brown, Smokey Celadon, Pecan, Burnished Mahogany and Black Onyx. It is the broadest finish range of any James Martin collection.

What sizes are Brittany vanities available in?

Thirty, 36 and 48 inch singles, and 60, 72 and 84 inch doubles, plus mirrors from 22 to 36 inches and a linen cabinet. Not every finish is offered in every width.

Does Brittany come with a countertop?

Yes, the countertop is chosen with the cabinet and the porcelain sink is included with it. Several models also offer a counter with wireless charging built into the surface.

Is there a matching mirror?

Yes, made in the same finishes on the same line as the cabinets. The Glenbrooke mirrors also come in several Brittany colours if you prefer a curved frame.

Brittany Collection

Brittany is the collection people buy when they cannot decide between traditional and modern, and that is not a criticism. The tapered legs and the shaker door are the traditional half; the straight lines and the plain hardware are the modern half. Put it in a period house and it looks like it belongs; put it in a new build and it looks deliberate.

It is also the widest range in the catalogue. Nine finishes, from Bright White and Urban Gray through Sage Green and Victory Blue to Black Onyx, Burnished Mahogany and Pecan, in widths of 30, 36, 48, 60, 72 and 84 inches. Very few collections give you a colour like Victory Blue in a 72 inch double, and that combination is why Brittany turns up in so many finished bathrooms.

What is in the collection

  • Single vanities from 30 to 48 inches and doubles from 60 to 84
  • Matching mirrors at 22 to 36 inches wide
  • A linen cabinet in the same finishes for towel storage
  • Quartz countertop choices with porcelain sinks included
  • Wireless charging built into the counter on selected models

Choosing a finish

The pale finishes, Bright White and Urban Gray, keep a small bathroom open and pair with almost any tile. The saturated ones, Victory Blue and Sage Green, work best when the rest of the room is quiet: white tile, simple tapware, and one thing in the room doing the talking. Burnished Mahogany and Black Onyx suit larger bathrooms with natural light, where a dark cabinet reads as furniture rather than as a hole in the wall.

Order the mirror in the same finish and the pair will match. For the wider brand range, see James Martin, and for other transitional collections in the same spirit, look at Bristol, Brookfield and Bellshire.
