James Martin 36" Backsplash, Charcoal Soapstone

Behind a 36 inch vanity the wall takes most of what the faucet throws, which is the whole job of this piece. It is cut from Charcoal Soapstone Silestone, 4 inches high and a full 3 cm thick, heavy enough to read as part of the counter instead of a strip stuck on the wall.

The charcoal ground is almost flat in tone and the white veins are thin and few, which is what honed soapstone looks like before years of oiling change it.

It matches the James Martin 040, 050 and 060 series tops at the same width. Tops and backsplashes are not always cut from the same slab, so expect a small difference in tone between the two rather than an exact match.
