Terrazzo is chips of marble set in a binder and ground flat, and it has been the floor of schools and banks for a century for good reason. It installs as tile, with thinset over a flat substrate, rather than as masonry with mortar and ties.

The body is 9 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 15.5 sq ft per box and 2 pieces in it.

It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
