Bathroom Drawer Units
The space under a sink is the worst storage in a bathroom, because the trap takes the middle of it. A drawer unit is the fix: a bank of full depth drawers with no plumbing running through them, placed where the wall has room. In a long bathroom, one between two vanities gives both users their own storage and turns two cabinets into a fitted run.
These are made in the modular series and are around 26 inches wide, sized so that a vanity plus a drawer unit lands on a standard wall length without an awkward gap. Drawers run on undermount soft close glides and the interiors are finished, so they hold folded linen as well as bottles.
Planning a run
- Measure the wall, subtract the vanity width, and see what is left for a unit
- Keep the counter continuous across both pieces for the tidiest result
- Leave clearance for door swings and for the drawers to open fully
- Order the countertop in one colour across the run, even when the pieces are separate
