Portland Collection

Portland takes American design from the 1930s to the 1960s and keeps the part that still works: proportion. The cabinets are simple, the lines are modern, and the only decorative move is the stylized louver door, which hides the storage behind a rhythm of horizontal slats.

One finish, Whitewashed Walnut, in 36 and 48 inch singles and 60 and 72 inch doubles, with a 28 inch mirror. A single finish keeps the collection coherent, and the whitewash lets the walnut grain read through without darkening the room.

Louvered fronts in a bathroom

Louvers do two things. They give the cabinet texture that a flat door cannot, and they let a little air move through the doors, which is not a bad property in a room that gets steamy. They also collect dust in the grooves, so a soft brush every few weeks is worth building into the routine.

Storage
