Frontier20 Mariposa Slate is a 12x24 slate look porcelain Cover. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. It covers the exposed cut end of a run, which is the edge that usually gives away where the tiling stopped.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.87 sq ft, 2 pieces.
