Frontier20 Montauk Black Double Mesh Slate Look Porcelain Moldings 24x24

This is the Frontier20 Montauk Black Double Mesh, 24x24 in a slate face. Frontier20 is the 20 mm outdoor programme, thick enough to be laid dry on gravel, sand or pedestals.

Slate is split rather than sawn, so its face has a shallow cleft texture, and that texture is pressed into this tile. The pieces come mesh mounted, so the spacing stays even and a sheet can be cut to follow a fall to the drain.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. It is sold by the box, 3.88 sq ft per box and 1 piece in it.

It is made in the United States, at Landmark's Mount Pleasant plant in Tennessee.
