Travertine in the real material has open pores that have to be filled and refilled; nothing here needs filling. Mesh backing holds the layout, which is what makes a mosaic practical on a shower floor or a backsplash.

The body is 20 mm and the edges are rectified, so it lays with a tight grout joint. The surface is matte. One box covers 3.88 sq ft, 1 piece.
