Frequently Asked Questions

Will a Glenbrooke mirror match my vanity?

It is designed to. The ten finishes were chosen to cover the most used colours across the James Martin vanity range, so if your cabinet is in one of those shades the mirror will match it.

What sizes do Glenbrooke mirrors come in?

Twenty six, 30, 36 and 48 inches wide. Choose one that sits four to six inches inside each edge of your countertop.

Is the glass bevelled?

Yes, bevel cut, with a shallow angled border around the reflective surface that catches light along the edge of the frame.

Can I hang it horizontally?

The rectangular sizes can hang either way, though the keyhole brackets are set for one orientation, so check the product photographs before deciding and plan the fixings accordingly.

Glenbrooke Mirrors

Glenbrooke is a mirror collection rather than a vanity collection, and it exists for a specific reason: not every vanity series is made with a mirror to match. Glenbrooke is finished in ten of the most used colours across the whole James Martin range, so a bathroom with a Breckenridge or a Lorelai vanity can still have a mirror in exactly the right shade.

The frame is where the design sits. The outer edge is sculpted with a soft curve rather than a square profile, which stops the mirror reading as a plain rectangle and gives the glass a shadow line. The glass itself is bevel cut, so there is a shallow angled border that catches light along the edge.

Finishes and sizes

Bright White, Black Onyx, Urban Gray, Smokey Celadon, Country Oak, Light Natural Oak, Whitewashed Oak, Whitewashed Walnut, Mid-Century Walnut and Burnished Mahogany, in 26, 30, 36 and 48 inch widths. Between them, those colours cover the finishes used across the Brittany, Breckenridge, Lorelai, Brookfield and Hudson collections.

Hanging

Keep the mirror four to six inches narrower than the vanity top on each side, and centre it on the basin rather than the cabinet if the sink is offset. Recessed keyhole brackets on the back let the frame sit flush to the wall. Over a double vanity, hang two.

For metal framed alternatives, see Rohe and Platform. The whole mirror range is at bathroom mirrors.
