Quartzite · Slab
Royal Red Velvet is a polished quartzite slab cut to random dimensions. The stone reads in rich red tones with a high gloss surface that reflects light sharply. We sell this stone as full slabs only, and pricing is always by quote. There are no set box quantities. You can request a quote for the exact slab sizes you need.
Design
Royal Red in polished finish
The red base carries darker mineral lines that run across each slab. The polished surface catches overhead light and deepens the color in the veins. Variation between slabs is normal and visible even at close range. Each slab is a single piece of stone with its own unique size. The pattern does not repeat in a grid. You might see wider bands of red on one slab and tighter lines on the next. The finish reads bright and direct under kitchen or bathroom lighting.

Slabs come in non repeating dimensions. The batch list on this page shows the sizes currently available.
High gloss polish
The surface is buffed to a mirror shine that reflects light and highlights the red mineral lines.
Where to use it
Six slabs in Fairfax
This stone works for residential countertops and both commercial and residential interior walls. A licensed fabricator will template and install the slab after delivery. The Fairfax warehouse currently holds six slabs in stock. We do not ship slabs to homes or job sites. The fabricator receives the slab by A frame truck within fifty miles of the warehouse. Slabs beyond that range ship by crated LTL freight. You should check the batch list for the exact sizes. Slabs from the same batch match most closely. The stone suits kitchen and bathroom spaces. Quartzite is harder than marble and holds a polish well. It resists etching better than marble but still needs sealing in kitchens and wet rooms.

Slabs cut from one block share the closest color and veining. Check the batch list for available sizes.
Fabricator delivery
Slabs go to a licensed fabricator only. Delivery is by A frame truck within fifty miles or crated LTL freight.

Care
Seal the stone in kitchens and wet rooms to protect the polished surface. Clean with a pH neutral stone cleaner. Avoid acidic cleaners that can dull the shine.
