Marble · Slab
Zanzibar is a black marble sold in full slabs. The polished finish reads as a mirror shine that deepens the stone and brings out the veining. We carry this stone in random slab sizes, so each piece arrives with its own dimensions. We sell these marble slabs by quote only. You get a price after you select your specific pieces.
Design
Black stone with white veining
The color is a deep black base with white to gray veining that runs through the slab. The polished finish reflects light and sharpens the contrast between the background and the veins. You should expect natural variation from one slab to the next. The veining pattern and the tone of the black will differ across the inventory.
Random slab dimensions
Each slab is a single piece of stone with its own cut size.

Where to use it
This stone is rated for residential countertops, residential interior walls, and commercial interior walls. We keep three batches in stock at our Fairfax, VA warehouse. There are fourteen slabs available in sizes ranging from 51x113 inches to 65x110 inches. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone. Slabs from the same batch match most closely, so we recommend selecting your pieces together.

Care
Marble reacts to acids like lemon and vinegar. Seal the stone after installation and reseal it every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid abrasive pads.
