De Soto Collection

De Soto was designed around storage rather than around a look. The cabinets are birch hardwood and veneer, the interiors are generous even in the smallest size, and the collection includes the extra pieces, drawer units, a countertop unit and a hutch, that turn one vanity into a fitted wall.

It is made in Bright White only, which sounds limiting until you see the point: in a collection meant to be combined, one finish guarantees every piece matches, and white keeps a room with a lot of cabinetry from closing in.

The pieces

• Vanities from 30 to 94 inches, single and double
• Drawer units at 22 and 26 inches to fill a wall
• A countertop unit for a work surface with no sink
• A hutch to add shelving above the counter

Building the run

Start with the vanity at the plumbing, then work outward with drawer units until the wall is filled, and finish with a hutch if the wall is tall enough to carry one. Order every countertop in the same colour so the surface reads as continuous. Interior outlets are fitted on most models, which keeps chargers off the counter.
