Marble · Slab
Calacatta Carrara Polished Marble Slab Random is a white marble with a polished finish that reflects light and deepens the natural veining. Each slab arrives in a random size cut from the block, and the stone is sold by quote rather than at a fixed price. You request a quote for the specific slabs you select from the batch list, and a licensed fabricator templates and installs the pieces. The stone carries the Calacatta Carrara designation and is available in a polished finish across residential interior walls, residential countertops, shower walls, and commercial interior walls. Pricing for these marble slabs is handled through individual quotes for each project.
Design
The surface presents a white background with grey to black veining that runs in organic lines across the slab. A polished finish reflects light and deepens the stone's color while showing the natural markings more clearly. Each slab measures a random size and carries its own unique veining pattern, so the stone differs from one piece to the next. Expect variation in tone and veining density between slabs, and between the slab and the sample. Dry lay the pieces before installation to distribute the variation evenly across the wall or counter.
The mirror finish sharpens the grey and black veining against the white background.
Each slab is cut to a unique size from the block, with dimensions listed in the batch inventory.
Where to use it
The stone is rated for residential interior walls, residential countertops, shower walls, and commercial interior walls in a kitchen or bathroom. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the slab, so delivery goes to a shop, not a job site. The batch list shows six slabs in Fairfax, and you should request the slabs from one batch for the closest visual match. Slabs arrive by A-frame truck within 50 miles of the warehouse or by crated LTL freight beyond that range.
Request slabs from the same batch to keep veining and tone consistent across the installation.
Slabs go to a licensed fabricator for templating and installation, not to the home.
Why we chose it
Seal the stone after installation and reseal every one to two years to protect against etching from acids like lemon and wine. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia, or abrasive pads during routine cleaning.
