Marble · Slab
Fior Di Pesco Carnico Honed Marble Slab Random arrives in random sizes. The inventory lists 66x122 in, 55x120 in, and 65x80 in slabs available now. These marble slabs are sold by quote. A licensed fabricator templates and installs them. We do not deliver slabs to a job site.
Design
Gray stone with honed finish
The stone reads as a steady gray. A honed finish leaves the face matte but smooth to the touch. Veining runs through the block in irregular lines. One slab will differ from the next in tone and pattern size. You will see this variation when you dry-lay the pieces before installation.
A honed finish is ground smooth but left matte.
Marble is a metamorphic natural stone. Every slab is cut from a different part of the block, so veining and tone vary from piece to piece and from the sample.
Where to use it
Three batches in Anaheim
This stone suits residential countertops, commercial interior walls, residential interior walls, and shower walls. It fits well in the living room, kitchen, and bathroom. Three batches hold nine slabs in Anaheim. Slabs from one batch match most closely. A licensed fabricator templates and installs them.
Slabs are sold in random sizes and are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.

Care
Seal the stone after installation and reseal every one to two years. Use a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid bleach, ammonia and abrasive pads. Marble reacts with acids like lemon, vinegar and wine, which etch the surface.
