Quartzite · Slab
Negresco is a black quartzite slab available in random sizes. It arrives with a polished finish that brings out the stone's natural depth. We sell this stone by the slab, so pricing is by quote. You request a quote for the specific slabs you select from stock. The inventory list shows the exact dimensions available at our Fairfax, VA warehouse.
Design
Black quartzite in polished finish
The black background carries subtle grey and white veining that flows across the surface. A polished finish reflects light and deepens the contrast between the dark matrix and the lighter veins. Expect slight variation between pieces because each slab is a single piece of stone with its own markings. The veining size and placement differ from one slab to the next. We keep two batches in stock at our Fairfax, VA warehouse.
Two finishes on one sheet
This product is a slab, so it comes as one continuous piece rather than a sheet with multiple finishes.
Cut for door openings
Slabs are cut to order for countertops, shelves and large-format walls.
Where to use it
This stone suits residential interior walls, commercial interior walls, residential countertops and shower walls. It fits well in kitchen and bathroom projects where you want a modern look. A licensed fabricator templates, cuts and installs the stone. You work with that fabricator to determine the exact layout. We have six slabs in stock across two batches at our Fairfax, VA warehouse.

Delivery radius
We deliver slabs to a licensed fabricator within 50 miles by A-frame truck. Beyond that range, we use crated LTL freight.

Care
Quartzite is harder than marble and holds a polish well. It resists etching better than marble but should still be sealed in kitchens and wet rooms. Clean with a pH-neutral stone cleaner and avoid abrasive pads.
