Noce Brown travertine in an oval bowl
This oval vessel sink is carved by hand from solid Noce Brown travertine quarried in Turkey. The stone carries warm brown color bands, earthy undertones and natural striations, and no two sinks share the same pattern. That is not a production limit: it is how travertine forms, in sequential layers that leave each block different from the next. The bowl measures 16 inches wide, 21 inches long and 6 inches high, and it is polished inside and out.
Design
Brown bands, polished and curved
The polish brings the layered bands of the Noce Brown forward and gives the stone a smooth, refined surface that sheds buildup and keeps upkeep simple. The oval basin is generous for washing while keeping a slim profile on the counter. Its curved edges leave no corners for dirt to collect, which makes cleaning easier than with an angular bowl. The walls are 2 to 3 cm thick. The color variation, veining and subtle pitting in each sink are not flaws; they record how the stone formed, and they give the bowl a depth no synthetic material can copy. Each piece is hand-shaped from a raw block, then smoothed, polished and inspected by eye. Moderate variation between sinks is normal.

Where to use it
Warm brown for many bathrooms
The warm Noce Brown tone moves easily between modern, contemporary, traditional and transitional bathrooms, from a minimalist spa-style room to a richly finished primary bath. Set above the counter, the bowl becomes the focal point of the vanity. It can also be installed as an undermount sink when a flatter counter line is wanted. The standard 4 cm drain hole accommodates typical plumbing connections.

Installation
On the counter or under it
Choose the mounting style before the counter is fabricated. Above the counter, the bowl sits on a flat, level surface over a drain hole cut to match the 4 cm drain, set in silicone, and it needs a tall vessel faucet or a wall-mounted spout that clears the rim. As an undermount, the counter needs a cutout sized to the bowl, and the sink is supported from below; the faucet then mounts on the counter or the wall. In both cases the cabinet and counter must carry the weight of solid stone, and professional installation is recommended.

Care
Travertine is a porous calcite stone, so acids such as vinegar or lemon can etch its polished surface. Resealing maintains its stain resistance, and how often depends on use, typically every 6 to 12 months.
