Quartzite · Slab
Smoky Textured Quartzite Slab Random arrives in a gray base with a textured finish that breaks up the light. We sell this stone as full slabs in the random sizes listed on this page. Each slab is a single piece of quartzite that comes in its own dimensions. Pricing is by quote for the slabs you choose. Call or email to request a quote for this product.
Design
Five sizes in Fairfax
The gray tone carries the smoky color group without leaning toward black or brown. Veining moves through the slab in soft, irregular lines that shift from slab to slab. The textured finish reads flat in low light but catches a highlight under direct sun. Variation between slabs is natural and should be expected on installation. Five slab sizes are currently in stock at our Fairfax warehouse. These sizes include 79x123 in, 77x126 in, 77x127 in, 75x127 in, and 76x128 in.
Random dimensions
Each slab is cut to a random size from the batch. The list on this page shows the exact dimensions available now.
Batch matching
Slabs in the same batch come from one block. We keep five batches in stock to help you match closely.
Where to use it
Thick slabs for walls
This 1 1/4 inch thick quartzite suits residential interior walls, residential countertops, shower walls, and commercial interior walls. A licensed fabricator templates and installs the stone for you. We hold thirteen slabs across five batches in Fairfax. Slabs from one batch look the closest to each other. The stone resists etching better than marble but needs sealing in kitchens and wet rooms.
Fabricator installation
We deliver slabs to a licensed fabricator only. They template, cut, and install the slab at your project site.
Sealing requirement
Seal this quartzite in kitchens and shower walls. The textured finish hides wear but still needs protection.
